JAL Hotels Launches its ‘FLY HANEDA! Campaign’ at Selected Hotels, Celebrating JAL’s Expanded International Air Routes to the Tokyo Haneda Airport

20100915.jpg September 16, 2010, Tokyo – JAL Hotels Co., Ltd. announced the launch of the ‘FLY HANEDA! Campaign’ to celebrate Japan Airlines’ (JAL) expansion of international routes to the Tokyo Haneda Airport. The campaign will offer JAL passengers traveling to Haneda Airport on international flights special hotel accommodations and dining promotions throughout JAL Hotels’ twelve worldwide hotels. The promotion will occur from October 30, 2010 to March 30, 2011.

Until recently, Haneda Airport only operated domestic flights as Narita Airport served as Tokyo’s main airport for overseas travel. However, Haneda Airport has recently begun operating some international flights. Starting October 31, JAL will launch additional international air routes departing from Haneda Airport to 10 international destinations: Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Honolulu, Paris, San Francisco, Shanghai (Hongqiao Airport), Seoul (Gimpo Airport), Singapore, and Taipei (Songshan Airport). Haneda Airport is located in the center of Tokyo –a 35-minute train ride from the Tokyo railroad station. The airport is also extremely accessible to the JAL Hotels’ seven properties located around the Tokyo Metropolitan area.

The accommodation promotion will be offered at twelve hotels – seven located around Tokyo and five located outside Japan. Additionally, dining promotions will be offered at six hotels around Tokyo. To receive the accommodation promotion, guests should reserve their rooms by selecting ‘J-SMART200 FLY HANEDA’ from the J-SMART accommodation plans, an upgraded mileage program launched by JAL Hotels in April. The reservation can be made by phone or online. During check-in, guests will need to present one of the following documents to receive the promotion: an air ticket, a copy of an e-ticket, a boarding pass or a copy of an online boarding pass. Promotions vary at each hotel and may include room upgrades, a free breakfast, and a guaranteed 24-hour stay regardless of a guest’s check-in time. The same documents should be presented to receive a 5% discount for the dining promotion at selected restaurants within the six chosen hotels. The dining promotion can be used multiple times.
